Summer Incentive Starts Sunday

7 Million Candles Recalled Over Fire Hazard

This is a good reason why you should switch to Scentsy! 

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A massive recall involving seven million candles tops this week's Recall Roundup, Consumer 10's Kurt Ludlow reported on Friday.  The candles were part of more than 600,000 tea light sets sold at Target, TJMaxx, Marshall's and Homegoods stores.  The sets were sold over the past two years under the brand names Chesapeake Bay Candle and Modern Light.  The candles have a clear, plastic cup that can melt or ignite, posing a fire and burn hazard.  There has been one report of a plastic cup melting while in use.  Nobody has been injured.

Scentsy Home Parties

Hosting a Scentsy Home Party is a great way to try new products, get together with friends and earn Host Rewards at the same time. Home parties are simple, personal and fun for everyone involved.

You will be provided with postcards, checklists, and party planning tips. Your Consultant will help you take Outside Orders from anyone who can’t to attend to make sure you get the maximum possible Host credits.

On party day, your Consultant will arrive a few minutes early to set up a simple product display and help with any last-minute arrangements. Then it’s your turn to sit back, relax, and enjoy the Scentsy experience. After the Party, your Scentsy Consultant will put orders together and help get the most out of your Host Rewards.

Scentsy Basket Party

If your guests can’t make it to the party—bring the party to them! While it may not offer the full-on communal experience of a Scentsy Home Party, the Scentsy Basket Party is a perfect alternative for an office party or visiting friends and loved ones who aren’t able to get out much for one reason or another. Your Consultant will provide you with a beautiful display basket full of Scentsy product samples and you’ll have 10-14 days to share it with as many people at as many locations as you like.

Your Scentsy Consultant will also make sure you have plenty of order forms and all the information you need to answer questions, demonstrate the products, take orders and—best of all—earn plenty of Host Rewards.

Teacher Appreciation

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 2nd-6th.  Teacher appreciation week is the perfect time in the year to take a moment to show your appreciation to teachers for all the effort they put in each day to teach and for the education that we receive thanks to them.  Show that special teacher how much you appreciate everything they do for your child(ren).

Michigan Warmer

I am starting to take order for the Michigan Warmer.  If you are a Michigan fan, you will not want to pass up this warmer.  This warmer beat the OSU warmer!  So be the to get your Michigan warmer.  The warmer is $35 and is not used with Combine and Save or any other specials.  Part of the proceeds will go to the university.  If you are interested in ordering this warmer, please email me at lbiniker@columbus.rr.com.  This warmer is available starting in May.

Mother's Day

We are 3 weeks away from Mother's Day so I created a Mother's Day party that will make it easier for you to order.  I will close this party no later than April 27th.  If you live in the Pataskala and surrounding areas, there will be free shipping and you must contact me to get the free shipping.  If you want to send your gift outside of the Columbus area, you can use my website and have your order sent to the designated address.  You will be charged shipping charges.

Scentsy - Down for Maintenance

Scentsy is currently down for maintenance.  They are working hard on bringing up our Europeon (Germany & U.K.) sites.  This is an exciting time for Scentsy!  We are expanding!!

To prepare for the launch, all consultants website will go dark for a several hours beginning at approximately 1 a.m. Sunday, April 17 and continuing into the early morning. Consultants and customers will see a splash screen during this down time, letting them know the system is temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance.

Keep checking back throughout the day on Sunday!!

"Bring Back My Bar" is coming soon!

Every six months Scentsy discontinues scents to make room for new seasonal scents that will come out in Fall/Winter & Spring/Summer catalogs. Some are reintroduced into the next appropriate season, some are not. Customers & consultants wish for their favorite scents to be reintroduced into the catalog but since there is only so much room to do so, it isn’t always possible. This is why Scentsy invented the “Bring Back My Bar” promotion.

Here is where the fun begins. Customers & consultants are able to vote for their favorite scents to be brought back! Scentsy tallies up the votes & brings back 20 of the most popular scents. The “Bring Back My Bar” promotion runs every year during the months of January & July.

On April 13 voting begins to see which Scentsy Fragrances will be in the running for this years Bring Back My Bar. Voting is open April 13-27. The 20 top bars will be available for purchase during the month of July 2011!  Make sure you check back to see which is up for the running and vote for your favorite scent!!
