Scentsy is the authentic wickless candle company, founded on the simple idea of offering a safer alternative to traditional candles. Highly scented wickless candles, heated in decorative warmers where the wax is melted by the heat of a low-watt bulb, infuse a space with beautiful fragrance – without a flame. The concept is simple. The warmers are beautiful. The fragrances are unique.

The Scentsy Family: Scentsy Fragrance, Velata Fondue, Grace Adele Handbags & Accessories

Read this great write up on the Scentsy Family written by my Super Star Director, Kelly Tenney.

Have you heard of the Scentsy Family?

The Scentsy Family of products represents three very unique brands with one main purpose: to add value to the world. Scentsy, Inc. was founded in 2004 by Heidi and Orville Thompson of Meridian, Idaho and was built on three core values: Simplicity, Authenticity, and Generosity.

Let’s start by looking at how those core values apply to the Scentsy Fragrance (formerly Scentsy Wickless) brand. Scentsy Fragrance began as a very simple product. The backbone of the brand is comprised of two basic elements: ceramic warmers powered by low-wattage light bulbs and scent-filled paraffin wax. The beauty is in the simplicity. From there, Scentsy became respected as the authority on fragrance. They slowly added different products to allow your favorite Scentsy fragrances to be a part of your life in more and more ways. Today, you can purchase Scentsy Fragrances in the form of travel tins, scent circles for your rear-view mirror, and scent packs for your favorite Scentsy Buddy stuffed animals. More recently, Scentsy expanded their product offering with the Layers by Scentsy line to allow you to layer yourself in your favorite Scentsy Fragrances from the shower or bath, to your lotion and hand soap, and even your clothes.

Take the idea of a ceramic warmer and it seems both natural and obvious to try to apply the same principle to food preparation. This simple idea helped to launch a whole new brand: Velata Fondue. It wasn’t enough to design the best fondue warming system that is both safer and simpler than traditional fondue pots. Just as Scentsy Fragrance takes great effort to produce the highest quality wax for their fragrance brand, Velata worked closely with the world’s best chocolatiers in Belgium. Together, they formulated the perfect Premium Belgian Chocolate in traditional flavors like milk, dark, and white. They also formulated a new idea in chocolate: carmel chocolate. This has quickly become their best seller. Words can’t describe it; you have to try it yourself.

Velata signified the beginning of The Scentsy Family of products, marking Scentsy, Inc as a multiple brand direct sales company. The new brand has gotten off to a great start, with its first three months of sales outperforming to the first three years of Scentsy Fragrance.

The Scentsy Family recently announced their newest brand offering at the Scentsy Family Convention in Las Vegas. They have known for quite some time that they wanted to explore the fashion market; particularly the handbag industry. How do you enter such a dynamic and established market while maintaining simplicity? Grace Adele.

Orville Thompson has a gift for making the complex simple. Grace Adele features five handbag styles, six clutch styles, all available in any of their seven color choices. Add to that sets of matching jewelry, wallets, and clip-ons, and what once was a complex market of fashion and design now has a strong offering of simplicity that still gives each person an opportunity to develop their own sense of style.

Spend less time matching your bags and accessories and more time showing them off!

Grace Adele will launch on August 1st, 2012.
